Event 2
The Economy Appliances Championship
Round five of the season from lydden started in damp and misty conditions. However there was nothing unclear about Merv Stratfords intentions as he set about increasing his lead in the 250 class with a convincing win, he was followed home by Ian Henshaw (4) making a welcome return to BHR this year on his Royal Enfield with Nigel Lines finishing 3rd on the Velocette. The trend was pretty much set for the weekend with Merv taking the other 3 class wins, classic entrant Nick Kennett on his ducati took three 2nd places with Nigel Lines taking more third places in races two and three, although he missed out in the final race of the weekend to Robert Butler (97) Ducati. With a month to go until Pembrey, can anyone stop Merv’s march towards another 250 championship.Rob Stafford, #105

Unless I’m reading it wrong, hasn’t Nigel 28 points not 10?
Ooops, fat fingers this end, uploaded a new table.
